i miss the beach

I can hardly stand it anymore. Too many things going on. Just too little time. My final is up in a week. I'm not done with the chapters. I'm worried shit if i cant get straight As. I miss my family. I miss my bestfriend. I miss him. I miss being home.

It's just hard to swallow everything in a gulp. I literally broke down last week. Its by far the worst homesick feeling ever. And it sucks. Big time. Back in my hometown, i always had the beach to keep me company. Its just few minutes drive. Within reach at anytime possible.

The nearest beach here is hours away in Port Dickson i.e PD. Its not the nicest beach around. But its still a beach. The only place where i can let it all out. The only place where i really feel serene.
I'm so lucky I have the sweetest friends around. Cos we're going PD tomorrow!! I crucially need a getaway and leave all these troubling thoughts behind. I cant face my finals feeling like crap.
Thanks so much for suggesting, friends. You guys rock!
See you at 7am.

ready to drool?

Living in a house full of girls and being far away from home can be tons of fun. No curfews. No restrictions. No parents.

And no lesbians! Totally nothing against it. Its just that we've had bad experience with that before. Anyway the best thing is, is having birthday celebrations more frequently than others every now and then!

Dave's Place

So today, was Jenny's and Sue's birthday! We've planned weeks in advance on where to go and EAT. After deep contemplations and intense arguements (chey macam la. we're all law students. it's hard not to bicker), we then decided to go Italian at this cosy restaurant called Dave's Place.

TOP: 4 flavours in 1 pizza! Smart. This pizza is MASSIVE. At RM70, it's worth every single ringgit!

This pizza on the top is my FAV, with turkey ham, mayonnaise, grana padano and mozarella. The vinaigrette is just too good i tell you. And the fettucine pasta with cream carbonara is simply deliciousss!

TOP : these are some of the food we ordered

Aside from salivating over the food, we spent MOST of the time cam-whoring. Everywhere. i hope the other visitors werent annoyed with us, seeing so many flashes coming from seven different digicams.

Top: Me, Charmaine, Vicky, Cheryl, Emmy & Lysha

Top: Me, Charmaine & Lysha

Top:My roomate, Zest & I. I absolutely adore this girl! Muaxx.

top: that's half of us, looking all red and hyper. and er, drunk?

I'd love to post all the pictures but it'll probably be as long as 70 posts combined. so forget about that. Anyway. I have a question.

If you were walking into a bakery store right, with a friend or two, and you see the widest selection of cakes that you've ever seen, which flavour would you most likely choose?

you would think : whad-everr man, it's just a bloody cake. anything will do.

well if you were to ask me, i'd say thats a tough question.

Although it's just a bloody cake. Mind you. ;P

Well in the complicated,fussy,hard-to-please-but-want-everything-perfect mind of a girl, its not going to be as easy as you think. We'd most likely to go :

Oooh i love chocolate cake..
But i kind of like cheese too..
Oh oh and it's been a while since i had blueberry..
yada yada yada

decisions?

Ever heard of combining everything together ?
Well we eventually invented one. Haha.
Present to you the weirdest cake you'll ever see, but could be the yummmiest cake you'll ever taste! It's from Secret Recipe, one of the famous cake shop around in KL.

Anyways, Happy Birthday Jenny & Sue!

I had an awesome night. Although it burnt a hole in our pockets, our bill was about rm500, but i'd do it all over again, with more food to order the next time. Haha.

Til my next post. Much love.

speaking of food

I get hungry ALL the time. you wanna know why? cos EVERYONE in my house gets hungry almost every single minute. and that person will certainly make sure that everybody else knows that she's hungry. still cant get the clue?

See i'm a person who's v easily influenced. (yes i know i'm weak) So if one starts to mention food, its hard fer me to say No. even after dinner, we'd be thinking of what to eat next, only after a lapse of hmmm..15 minutes? bear it mind that it can get even worse sometimes.

Can't see anything wrong with this cartoon? Then you're a victim!!

more ironic is, most of us are actually trying to lose weight. very determined in fact. some tried to jog everyday. reading up on lose-weight solutions in Cleo and 17. skipping meals. slimming cream (but not me). avoiding fast food. more exercise.

it looks like we're doing everything by the book isnt it?
i just wish it would turn out like how it should turn out. one thing we lacked, and particularly me, is the most essential element to lose weight - consistency.

If rabbits were carnivore and size didnt matter.

Anyway fu*k it. cant beat em now, i ll beat em next time.

Well. speaking of food. what i really meant to write was last week Charmaine and I went dinner at Yoshinoya. its a Japanese restaurant in One Utama (that's a shopping centre). I've eaten here quite a few times, brought Charmaine to try the menu.

clockwise: Me ordering the usual. That's the set, includes sea coconut too! Rice + chicken + veges, cooked Jap style. Rice + onions + beef. It's seriously GOOD.

The food here was great. It's a lot but it's healthy. Charmaine and I were comparing how less-fattening this meal was than Mc Donalds. Haha. Subject on what's fat and not fat will always be brought up to the table. Paranoid la katakan.

Charmaine looking v happy to be there. we made a vow not to eat that day. but as usual we broke it.

And i just had Mc Donald's for dinner. Gosh i'm so not a healthy eater. But i actually felt sick after I was done with it. Felt damn queasy. Good to know that my stomach cant take these fast foods, all fat and fried no more. Better cut it down completely.

Plus, i need to slim down before the KK trip. Shucks. Til my next post, adios!

Much love, muaxx.

A Harsh Reality ?

Some might abhor the idea. Maybe some just cant accept the probability. But i guess this is one of the examples of stuff that are just overrated these days. Being a smoker with crazy hair doesnt make u a failout. Bad attitude, however makes one hell of a different story. Just study your ass off, and it'll lessen the chances of being a brick-carrier! *winks* Omar-ion you reading this?

Party time

Mona celebrated her 19th birthday last Friday. We convoyed our way to her house in Kota Kemuning. Party was great. Food was superb (i love Indian food!). Everyone was there, and i managed to catch up with most of my coursemates, especially Nuha. I have not talked to her for like ages!

The party started warming up once everyone had a taste of alcohol. *laughs wickedly* Few girls, including myself, took few sips of wine, and that was it fer me. Bleurgh, my tongue was never fond of alcohol at the first place! The boys, as predicted, thought otherwise.

Clockwise: Syaril and Abol showing some love for the camera (Syaril, isnt that ur gf's ring ur wearing? oooh no, Abol's SO NOT gonna like that). Thats Shini in black, and i'm the one in blue. Nuha and I making faces. Hahaha. Aamir, innocent-looking as always, with Omar the cool guy.

A day before was Omar's 20th birthday. The least i could do was play my guitar and sing a song i wrote for him and Mona. Their smiles after i was done, believe me, was priceless.

Thursday night. MZ, Seth and myself kept Omar company for the BIG NIGHT. Hahaha. Its the big 2-0. I always have fun joking with him about it.

We ordered 2 extra-large Canadian Pizza, had a nice simple picnic under the stars. It was in a really huge park, with a big lake, so beautiful. Water lilies and streams everywhere. But the dark pathways, weird sounds made it uncomfortably scary to be there. And it was way past midnight. Took us half an hour or more just to amble a full circle of the park. But i had a good time.
